Carry It Classically
Ghurka founder Marley Hodgson was at an estate sale in the UK in the early ‘70s when he came across a captivating find. It was a rare stash of gear belonging to a turn-of-the-century British Ghurka commander who’d been stationed in India.
The nearly 100-year-old belts, backpacks and boots had not only held up, but had gained a time-worn patina that left them supple, sturdy and positively dripping with character. They were the inspiration for the first Ghurka bags, which Hodgson created in 1975 using the world’s finest leather and a rabid commitment to craftsmanship.
Today, you don’t have to go to an estate sale. Just come by Mr. Sid and pick up one of the world’s finest bags to carry your gear in style.
