Sid Says

Intercepting Type 1 Diabetes

Mr. Sid welcomed in the football season as it always does with their annual NFL Kickoff Q&A with Patriots radio broadcast team of Scott Zolak and Bob Socci.  Guests enjoyed tailgate fare, spirits, raffle and live auction and of course a round table discussion about the upcoming NFL season with the aforementioned broadcasters along with ex-patriot greats Rob Ninkovich and Jerod Mayo. The event was a big success and it was a great start to launch our season long campaign to benefit The Massachusetts General Hospital Cure Diabetes Now Fund which helps the incredible research lab run by Dr. Denise Faustman. Over the years we have become friendly with the Zolak family and know how their family has been impacted by type 1 diabetes. Scott and Amy Zolak have been very active in helping to try to find a cure for this disease. Scott has been so good to Mr. Sid and our family that it only seemed natural to reach out to the Mr. Sid network and see how we could give back. During the evening the exclusive “ZO Blazer” was unveiled. The beautiful Sid Royale blazer is fashioned with a special custom lining designed by Brian Fox, a nationally renowned artist specializing in painting athletes and celebrities. This one of kind blazer is available for ready to wear or you can choose to use the lining in any of our Sid Royale custom suits or jackets. Mr. Sid will donate 25% of every limited edition Scott Zolak made to measure suit or sport jacket to The Massachusetts General Hospital Cure Diabetes Now Fund. Mr. Sid will also donate $100 for every interception by the patriots this season.
